Add a Cin7 Core client entity to your account

This guide provides a step-by-step process for connecting a new organization for Cin7 Core.

Idea
Currently, Cin7 Core is available exclusively for the VAT Number Checker (VIES)

1) Click on the New Entity on any screen within generate.TAX.



2) Choose the CIN7 button.



3) Enter your credentials for your Cin7 account.



How to get the credentials from Cin7 Core

4) Log in to Cin7 Core with your account details and go to Integration.



5) Click the API option from the menu and select the Cin7 Core API Integration.


6) Click on the + sign to add a new entity then click on Create.


7) Copy the Key and save it, as you will need it in the generate.TAX back-office. You can then Close the pop-up window.


8) Copy the Account ID and save it for use in the generate.TAX back-office.
Warning
Be sure to click Save before entering the details in generate.TAX.

9) Ensure that all credentials from the Cin7 back-office have been copied to the generate.TAX back-office. The 'Friendly name' field will be the name displayed for the entity in generate.TAX.

10) Click Connect and this will create a new Qualified Entity.
