Upload Tax Rates in Xero directly from generate.TAX
This article explains how to use generate.TAX to set up tax rates in new global Xero entities, which start with only a few defaults. It covers how to create and apply custom or prebuilt templates, and how using generate.TAX templates also enables automatic VAT return mapping for a streamlined setup process.

1) Select the entity you want to upload tax rates for.
2) Click on the Tax Rates tab.
3) You will see a list of existing tax rates on Xero. Choose the Proceed button to automatically load a list of tax rates to Xero.
4) Click the search field "Select Templates".
5) Select your preferred template.
6) If you have no preset templates, choose "Select Country".
7) Then, select your country from the supported list.
8) Choose the required tax rates from the list, you may also "Select All".
9) Open and read the notice.
10) Accept the terms by ticking "I have read the notice".
11) Click on "Add Tax Rates".
Success! You have uploaded tax rates to Xero directly from generate.TAX.
